Common questions

Will RFP issuers detect AI-drafted responses?
Only if it's AI-only. The architecture above is AI-drafted, partner-refined — and the partner refinement is what makes the response voiced, tailored, and relationship-specific. Issuers detect AI-only responses because they're generic; the high-performer pattern is specific because the partner makes it so.
Should we disclose AI use in our response?
Best practice is yes when the RFP asks (and increasingly RFPs do); silent use carries risk if the issuer discovers it later. A short disclosure ('this response was drafted with AI assistance and refined by [partner]') is durable and signals the firm's discipline.
What about firm voice — won't the AI flatten it?
Will if you use it as a one-shot generator on a generic prompt. Won't if you build a corpus of your firm's prior writing and tune the model to that voice. Voice preservation is real work; treating it as a setting rather than a discipline is where firms lose voice.
Will this work for federal RFPs (GSA, GovCon)?
Yes, with stricter discipline. Federal RFPs have specific verbiage and certification requirements. AI drafts the structure; a proposal specialist familiar with federal RFP conventions ensures the response matches expectations. AI accelerates; it doesn't replace the specialist.
What's the win-rate impact?
Hard to attribute cleanly — proposals win for many reasons. The honest claim isn't 'AI raised our win rate.' The honest claim is 'AI freed 3–5 hours per proposal, which the partner could spend on the tailoring that actually drives win rate.' The mechanism is reallocation of the partner's time, not AI's writing quality.
